Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano grew up in California, and initially was attracted to in competitive gymnastics. She later made the decision to go after a job as an actress. She debuted on the screen in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. Her first big-screen appearance came one year later in the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. Through the years, she's proven herself as among the most promising actors in the field. As a result of her appearance in 'NCIS', she received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 years old in the year 2011. In 2013, she was nominated once again for the Young Artist Award. This time, for her appearance on Disney XD's 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano played a role in a handful of episodes of "Mom" in the 4th season. She was a main character in the first three seasons of the series. Calvano's performance being a rising star on Mom brought her the Gracie Allen Award, which is given to outstanding female actresses.
